This website was created to celebrate the life of Reverend Esther Davis, on approaching her 90th birthday.

Esther passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2008, at the age of 92. Her life was full of love, friends, and adopted families. We (her friends and adopted family) would like to share this celebration of her life with all of you.

Esther was a poet and a dreamer. She was practical, and generous to a fault. She always spoke her mind, and always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. She lived through dark and frightening times, yet always remained cheerful. She was a fighter all her life; and a woman of peace. She worked all her life; to support her widowed mother, to support herself, to support her beliefs. She never had much for herself, and yet of what she had, she never stopped giving.
